Guide

Understand the food first.

Every material has its place.

Beeswax wraps are best for foods that benefit from gentle breathing and short-term cold storage: bread, cheese, lemons, half-cut fruits, produce, and bowl covering.

Warm to shape
01

Warm to shape

Press the edges gently with the warmth of your hands so the wrap follows a bowl rim, bread, cheese, or cut produce. Shape with warmth, not force.

Wrap and cover
02

Wrap and cover

Use it to cover ceramic, glass, or wooden bowls, or to wrap bread, cheese, half lemons, and cut fruits or vegetables.

Short take-away
03

Short take-away

Sandwiches, rice balls, or small snacks can be wrapped for a short time. Open, clean, and air dry the wrap after use.

Cool rinse
04

Cool rinse

Rinse gently with cool or room-temperature water. Use a gentle cleanser only when needed. Avoid hot water, hard brushes, or strong detergents.

Air dry and store
05

Air dry and store

Let the wrap dry fully in a ventilated place. Store flat, gently rolled, or in a dedicated drawer.

Keep away from heat
06

Keep away from heat

Do not use in microwaves, ovens, or dishwashers, and do not wrap hot food. Heat can affect the waxed surface.

Good for

Bread, cheese, half lemons, cut fruits and vegetables, short-term bowl covering, sandwiches, and small snacks.

Not suggested for

Direct contact with raw meat or fish; hot or oily food; food that needs long, airtight storage.

How to decide

Look at the food first: does it need short-term covering, a gentle sense of breath, or a sealed container instead?

Beeswax candle
Beeswax Candle

Beeswax candle use notes.

The role of a beeswax candle is simple: a steady, gentle light for dinner, reading, and handmade moments.

  • Place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Keep away from paper, fabric, curtains, and other flammable objects.
  • Keep attended while lit and make sure it is fully extinguished before leaving.
  • Trim the wick when needed for a steadier next burn.
Workshop
Workshop

Workshop participation notes.

A workshop is not only a class, but a way to return to wax, cloth, wick, and table materials.

  • Experiences may focus on wraps, candles, or table materials.
  • Tools, temperature, and material boundaries are explained on site.
  • The finished object can return to everyday use.
  • If heating tools are involved, on-site safety guidance takes priority.
Vegan & Allergy Notice

ONTHETABLE beeswax wraps currently use beeswax and natural resin. They are not vegan products. People sensitive to bee products, rosin, or natural resin should use with care.
